Architect, designer and Italian artist Riccardo Dalisi, awarded the Compasso d’Oro twice (in 1981 for his research on the coffee
maker and in 2014 for his social commitment) is recognized as one of the most multifaceted and unconventional Italian designers of recent decades. Deeply committed to social causes, he consistently combined research and teaching with design and architecture, making art the guiding thread of his life.
His artistic expression, situated between myth, the archaic and the sacred, enhances humble materials such as iron, copper and brass, crafted with artisanal sensitivity.
Feudi di San Gregorio preserves two of his works, which represent a constant source of inspiration for the winery. From this strong connection emerged the idea of dedicating a limited artist edition bottle to Dalisi.
The Fondazione Riccardo Dalisi offered Feudi di San Gregorio the image of a mosaic created by Dalisi, designed to enter into dialogue with the winery’s iconic labels. This artwork dresses the bottle and constitutes its central visual element.
All proceeds from the sale of this bottle are entirely donated to the Fondazione di Comunità San Gennaro, which is committed to the social regeneration of the Rione Sanità district in Naples through art and culture, in agreement with the Foundation and the Dalisi family.
